I would like to make my daughter's quad to go faster but I don't know we're to start? The quad that she has is 12v. I got it when she was 3. Now she is 5 and she really wants to go fast..lol.. any ideas?? And how to do it. Thnks

Depending on what quad it is, you can usually add a 6v battery in series to make it an 18v ride. Speed is greatly improved but with added voltage and the weight of a 5yr old things will eventually break. It's just the way it is.

It's a barbie kawasaki 12v quad. The battery is under the sit. And it looks like theres no space to add another battery. Any other ideas? Thnks.

Oh there's room. You just gotta go a little tetris on it. The stock battery will get replaced with either a 12v 12ah (12 volt 12 amp hour) battery along with a 6v 6ah battery or three 6v 6ah batteries. you can use smaller batteries of a lesser amp hour rating but with the added voltage comes higher amp draws which lead to shorter run times and run-on sentences.
You will need to install a 40 amp in-line fuse.
