Been trying to figure out the best way to speedup my sons Peg perego gator hpx.
Looks like eastcoastpowerup has a 24 volt upgrade kit. so that is one option.
just adding an addtional 6 volt battery is another

what is the recommendation of the experts on this forum for the gator hpx?
Thanks in advance

Depends on pocket depth, and skills.
6v gains some speed, but that's all......
ESC costs more, is far more involved, but gains speed, can extend motor/gearbox/tire life, and provides far more realism because then becomes variable throttle brake pedal and a speed governor.
All depends how deep your ready willing and able to get. I've heard no complaints about the esc's other than the time to install, working out the kinks, and the work required for placing the equipment. It also means that you have to buy 2 New batteries, cuz their 24V, and you would prefer same same batteries.
