Slow down a 12 V to a 6 v...I know...who wants to go slower?

Let me start by saying that this is not my idea. I went out and bought the 12 V vette because I wanted my daughter to go fast. My wife wants her to go slow. I was wondering if a 6V battery would plug into the 12 V vette, then we can graduate my daughter to the 12 V later.

I imagine this isn't possible, but it would be great if it was.

Any advice?

Thanks!

Keep it in low gear and you have 6volts.

Thanks a lot! I bought this used and didn't get the manual. I thought it only had one gear. Now that my wife is happy with the speed, I'm gonna plasti-dip it orange. My daughter's favourite colour.

There is probably a screw/contraption that locks it there. What model do you have?

It's the 12 volt corvette. It's pretty awesome and my daughter will I've it when she gets it.

I took a lot at the forward/reverse shifter and there is a screw along the slider, so I'll keep that in place for now.
