I want to go faster.

Hi-

I’m new here. Are there step by step instructions on how to upgrade our Kawasaki quad to speed it up a bit? I’m not looking to get super crazy.

Is there a resource that tells you exactly what to purchase and where?

Thanks!

Check out the "up to 12v" section under the battery/electrical tab on this site. There's quite a bit of info there. Adding a second gearbox/motor and then running at 12v is a common upgrade.

I purchased a 12v battery from amazon and a 30amp in-line fuse. Hardest part was cutting out part of the frame which i did with a hacksaw blade. I made a bracket to cradle the bigger battery out of 2” x 1/8” aluminum stock.

Our two year old can pop small wheelies now!
