First off I would like to say I am an auto mechanic so Im not totally in the dark here. With that said my step son wants to go fast lol. I have never done upgrades to power wheels before but have seen many great videos of them. I have already decided I am going to be fixing his wheels up with some rubber ones cause the sound on the pavement is terrible. Still debating on lifting it. My question right now is how do I go about making it faster? It has a 12v 9.5 Ah power wheels battery in it now. I want thoughts and suggestions on how to upgrade to 24v battery. I have already seen that some people say depending on the model adding only 6v is a better idea. But there isn't much room in there to be adding batteries without cutting some of the plastic away on the sides of the inside. So I feel like a straight battery switch to something with more volts would be better. Thoughts? Actual battery suggestions as well please and keep in mind I am not made of money. Thank you!!
