Need new batteries? Going from 12V to 18V or 6V to 12V? Wiring Questions?
#149308
Anyone have suggestions for connector clips? My kids have two Peg Perego machines, I bought (2) 12AH 12V aftermarket batteries, and (2) 6V 12ah aftermarket batteries. I figured this will give them the options to run 12v, 18v, or even 24v all depending on how I set it up or wire it up. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to make connectors?

I went to Autozone and bought the large size spade terminals, female go into the battery, and male connect onto the battery connector. Using male and female ends on your connector wires will give you an assortment of ways you can mix them how you want. BTW, you must add an in-line fuse holder when using these aftermarket batteries, and going above the 12v is going to heat-up your wiring and motors and extra strain on your gearboxes, be ready to start tearing stuff up!
