Need new batteries? Going from 12V to 18V or 6V to 12V? Wiring Questions?
#150893
All, I've done a little search but I think my question is so basic, I couldn't find an exact answer. Sorry if this is already out there.

My son's Peg Perego Gator XUV (older with two switches in pedal assembly) is not working this spring. We got a new battery, and measuring with the multimeter, it's showing 12.9 volts.

I replaced the two switches but it is still not working. That said, I'm not sure how/where to put the multimeter probes before and after the switch to see if power is making it to, and past, the switches when the pedal is engaged. Can anyone explain this to me like I'm a 5 year old?
