Hi all - long time lurker, never posted.
My wife acquired 2 free BPRO last year, and with some minor work, they served well last year. This summer the 12V 12AH SLA batteries are getting tired, and the kids are getting heavier - difficult to climb the small hills in our park.
I am thinking to change them over to an 18V power tool battery set (RC LiPo are a little too dangerous and technical for kids and mommy to use without a robust battery management system to prevent overcooking).

1. The Power Wheels Barbie Jeep is in pretty good condition, needed the apparently usual front end alignment/reinforcement work. Thanks so much to the board members for how-to and ideas.

2. The little red jeep was DOA, but worked immediately and flawlessly once a throttle wire was reconnected.
I am not sure what it is, though - it seems like it would be a Peg Perego, as it has rack and pinion steering and came with a new-ish Peg Perego blue 12V 12AH battery.
It doesn't look like any of the Gaucho images I can find, it's smaller than the Barbie Jeep, the battery connects via a factory looking heat shrinked on Flat 4 trailer style connector, it has some sort of (non-functional) blue pendant/yellow dash box kill switch, and the tires are quite deeply ridged with a narrow runner in the center to smooth things on pavement.

I could really use some help identifying the red jeep, so I can start looking for wiring diagrams etc to make sure I am safe to put 18V to it, and start to identify where to put in a soft start controller, etc.

At first it looked like a Peg Ranger but the shifter location is wrong, among other things. Is that an 800 number on that white sticker?

I told Google to search for similar images and it came back with red lawnmowers.
