Made some more progress last night and today. It's starting to come along. The stereo will be a bit longer than expected. I somehow managed to touch the outside casing of it to the terminal on the battery when I was testing the sound on the speakers and fried it.

sucks that you fried the stereo..
love the work so far.
i'd try pulling out the stock stereo and working from there..

also, they sell motorcycle stereos that are MUCH MUCH smaller and have a neat little display.
check ebay out.

my son also has a Hurricane, but he's too little to actually use it (2) but he does love his big boy atv!
we let our friend (the one in the vid) borrow it until my son is a bit older.
they really tore up my backyard.....

i'd like to do something similar, but i'd really like to give it a lift with a full suspension system.. probably off a small china atv... seen some on CL for about $100...
thought about fabricating my own, but i'm sure i can adapt something already made..

Great work so far and keep us updated!

Got a new stereo in about 2 weeks after I fried the first one. Had it all hooked up but never actually mounted it. Other than that, its about done. Just need to mount the radio and finish painting the seats. Ran out of warm weather to finish painting and I wanted to get it back together so she could at least have some fun in it.
