Nothing ground breaking on the speed aspect of this build but it does have a mean look on her face! Stock 23 tooth gearboxes with rc bearings installed on the first gear shaft. Harbor freight floor mat material glued to the tires, (son likes to drift so put stock back on the rears). Normal esc wiring for now but have a nos button and relay wired up, running 6s 5ah lipo now but planning on using an 8s lipo on a potentiometer and have the signal wire on a relay to bypass the potentiometer. This will allow the full 30 volts to the motors when the nos is armed and fired. The icing on the cake is the twin fake blow off valves made to look like turbos. I found them on ebay and gutted them of the speaker and sound board. Might install the micro switch on the gas pedal and speaker at a later date. Threw the turbo housings in the media blaster and painted them metallic silver and I think they look pretty dang real. Took the cut off saw to the solid grill of the vette and added plastic gutter mesh to allow the turbos to show thru. Lastly is I added oznium super flux red leds to the turbos and wired them up in series and soldered the leads to the motor output on the esc relay. Basically it has variable brightness so under full throttle the lights get full 12 volt illuminating the turbo vanes. Still lots of cosmetic items like working tail lites, front air difusser, side scoops and a rear wing, so stay tuned.....

tried out a pc fan but did not make enough sound like building boost and just blocked the led output so removed it. There is a guy I sent a turbo to that is supposed to 3d print them for me with a working turbo vane but he has gon awol on me....

yeah, the dyno is legit and I got it dialed in finally after figuring out that the control unit is on the fritz. Here is the build thread. http://forum.modifiedpowerwheels.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=19248&p=138614&hilit=dyno#p138614 Will post more info when we get a new head unit.

here is the old setup that just ran too hot so installed banebot 775 on 8s lipo with a potentiometer setup that has a relay that bypasses the pot for full 32 volt launches. Best build you can get using stock gears and an esc IMO. Will have to get a new video with the current setup and a dyno clip and race footage.

here is the red rocket with the banebot and 8s lipo setup. Doing some cool hydrographics and wheel mods by cutting out the wheel and inserting dog bowls for a killer deep dish rim stance.
