About a year ago I did 12v to 18v upgrade on the F150. That was cool and made a big difference in speed. Fast forward to 2017 and my oldest wants the F150 to go even faster, and my youngest one wants his KX to be upgraded to 18v.

I recently came into a stockpile of five 12v batteries. This made the decision to upgrade that much easier. After doing the original 12v to 18v upgrade it was really simple the second time around.

I modified the Kawasaki KX from 12v to 18v!!

I used the original wiring harness and just ran the wires to the 6v battery to get to the 18v total.

So I turned the F150 from 18v to 24v!!

After modifying the F150 to 24v... It went fast as hell... for about 15min. Then it stripped the gear, time to go get that metal gear upgrade working!

Interesting. Post photos of the inside of that gearbox. In the past I actually had the shaft move since it heated the gearbox case. Then the gear stripped because it was mis-aligned.
