Here is the next project, it will either be a 70s Hot Wheels look or maybe a Can-Am car. Will try to keep the board updated.

or Speed Racer's Mach 5 ! I'm showing my age - that was my favorite cartoon as a kid.
That thing is really cool. Is it a shell of a ride from an amusement park ?

Yes it’s a Italian company that is still in business making fairground rides. They have no record of this particular model but I’m guising its late 60s early 70s I have tried searching for anyone else who has converted a carousel car but with no luck. I have searched this forum but the only similar project is in the archive section.

Is the windshield and rear lens still available ? The more I look at it the more I like the stock paint and decals.
Are you thinking about dropping the body on a full frame or is it strong enough to do a unibody ? It already looks pretty heavy.

Hi
A full frame just to be on the safe side. I will 3d print a new rear light design ( I can match the lights but I think they are off a 60s Lancia of Fiat. ) and then vacuum form them. I will also cover the lights the same way. There is a lot of tin ( bumpers etc) which I am looking at getting spray chromed . The windscreen may end up being a canopy depending on budget and time.
