This is another build I did for a special customer, I was approached to make a car for a child that has some disabilities and I was more than happy to give it a shot!

So I picked up a Corvette, made a plan, did some research and built the below.

The start:

From Amazon, it is a replacement for the child safety seats (car seat).

Next challenge was to come up with a way to carry the childs oxygen concentrator machine. He needs to be on oxygen and the machine is pretty expensive, so I was worried about getting damaged... The Corvette doesnt have much room as it is and I could not fit the machine within the body. I also decided it was a good idea for my solution to be portable, so this is what I came up with.

I turned a stnadard radio flyer wagon into a trailer for the concentrator.

Of course it has to have matching underglow.

Then I made up a hitch to pull the trailer and allow easy detaching from the vehicle.

The next step was to build some side boards to contain the machine and some foam to cushion the ride.

After the trailer was complete, I installed the taillight LED's, decals and began final assembly/wiring.

I built a steering wheel mounted hand throttle, the driver has limited use of this legs, so he could not operate the traditional throttle pedal.

I havent heard any compalints from the customer, I believe the machine is pretty light. I was worried about it too, I would probably use a larger wagon next time and/or put some wider tires on it.
