I have 2 Peg-Pergeo Sportsman 700's. Both have new GP batteries, replacement motors, good gearboxes, new wiring harnesses and gas pedal switches. Both just seem slow with my 40-50lbs kids on them. Struggle on even slight inclines.

What can I do to pep them up a bit? I'm not sure if its just the type of lawn we have which is thicker prairie grass i guess you would call it.

Would an 18V upgrade or possibly different selection of motors help?

18v is the easiest upgrade option. Just have to find space for a 6v battery with the same AH as your 12v battery and add a bit of wiring to existing battery location. 18v will help on small inclines and grass, be advised that anytime one thing is upgraded there is always the possibility of breaking something else from extra stress. I’ve had good luck with 18v upgrades and not breaking much.
