Hi All,
i am looking to do an upgrade from 12v to 18v
im nearly got all my parts on hand, and im just finalizing my wiring diagram (ill post that to get your thoughts when i think i have it right)
my question is, as i have a twin DC motor car, do i run the motors in series or not? If i do, would that put any extra strain on gearboxes, batteries, other electrics?

thanks
Sam

All 2 speed ride ons I have seen connect the motors in series for low speed and parallel for hi speed. That means they each get the full 12v across both motors in Hi speed but in series they only get 6v per motor. If you just have one speed setting, then
your would want the motors in parallel, to have the full 18v across both motors.
