I just bought a Barbie Mustang that's in very good condition. I'm trying to figure out when it was built. The cars date code is 0635Q2 and the battery is 3074PM2. Is it possible to find out what I'm after? :?:

Thanks

Archived info I found:

Battery date code (courtesy of Hobbymasters)
"The first 3 digits is the number of days into the year it was made. Next 2 digits is the year. last digit is the shift number in the factory."
So that would put it on the 307'th day of 2004, 2nd shift, or Tuesday, November 2, 2004. So basically... 14+ years ago.

Can't find info on the vehicles date code but most places use a WWYY or YYWW format. I would guess the car was built in the 35th week of 2006 (September 4 -10)

Also compliments of hobby masters. If you find the original parts diagram, sometimes the years that the models were made are listed on the from page. It may show year range or have a revision date. Vehicle model number will be on decal in battery compartment. It should give you a good estimate of vehicle age.
