Just curious If I need to wet or dry sand the seats. They seem to be in the original color without paint. Ill definately clean them with a degreaser but just wondering if sanding them will change the results.

Thx.

If you're painting them, I'd without a doubt say you need to scuff/sand.... it's all about providing a surface with "bite"! Your paint will not attach well, and a high wear location like under a wobbling kid (that's giddy and figidy) butt is definitely going to be high wear!
May also want to add a few layers of clear to help protect the paint, and some adhesion promoter before!
Between you needing to get in there, and the funky stuff they put on the butts of jeans today, your going to need the most durable surface to be the seat.
