Found this neat online tool:

It shows what gauge of wire is needed based on the amp consumption. At the bottom of the page is a calculator that will help you see voltage drop, etc. and choose the best AWG size.

I found two very helpful charts to judge wire gauge. I thought that they would help out people that want to know what wire gauge to use.
