My son just got a 1st craftman f-150 truck. A used one, well I added the second 6 volt battery as followed on the video on here, It was super fast for like 5 minutes then it wouldnt run on the 2 batteries, I connect single it works fine. Any ideas on how to correct this..

It is a power wheels 6v. my first craftsman. It does have forward and reverse and 2 motors on both wheels. The batteries are both 6 volt power wheels big red ones.

Any help will be nice my son wants to go fast...

thanks

I checked the pedal switch it seems to have no power when both batteries are connected..but when 1 is connected it is normal.. Should I wire the batteries parallel instead of series? I also added a 30 amp fuse for precautionary purposes.
