Bought my son a Lightning McQueen 1.5 years ago and he wont drive it cause it goes to slow. My other two sons have cars and they go faster. So I found this site and found the post on upgrading. So I went out and bought a 12V 12AH battery, soldered the old connector onto the new one a shrinked tubed around it, then cut thhe postive and added a 30 amp miniblade fuse. Put battery in and car went fast.

UH.OH. Problem...fuse keeps blowing. Son road for 1 minute and fuse blew. I replaced it and the 2nd one lasted 30 seconds.

This is a lightning mcqueen that DOES NOT have the two motors.

PLEASE HELP...my son was so excited but I have failed him so far.

Thanks
Bill
