Ok, so I bought a red sports car on ebay. It was described as a 12volt, but was sent and only available as a 6volt. I called the brand manufacturer, who told be that a 12volt battery would be too big for the car. But, something tells me she is being a little lazy and doesn't want to help me do the research to make it work. I could return it for a full refund, but if I can make a 12 volt work I would rather keep it. Does anybody have any experience with this brand or know off hand whether or not I can make this work?

I suggest utilizing ebay customer service for returning the item as "not as advertised".

This board has a wealth of information on how to convert from 6 to 12 volts. In your search you will also find that patular brand toy is a undesirable platform. I personally refer to them as junk. Send it back while you can.
