sub-note: take care of these motors, they are extreeeeeemly hard to find, so if you blow it up or let out the magic smoke fixing it aint gonna be easy. :-(

This might seem like a stupid question, but I have done a lot of reading without finding the answer I need.

I have a Jeep power wheel with two 12v batteries that I just wired in parallel. I want to be able to charge them in the Jeep and not having to remove them.

Is it possible to add a wire on the positive and negative wires that attach the batteries for the charger? Then I would just have a plug in the Jeep and could simply plug it in when we are done.

I wanted to make sure before I did this and it caused any problems during the charge.

Thank you!!

Yes, you can charge batteries in parallel. It's not preferred due to the fact that batteries are not identical. They decay at different rates. You can charge them in parallel but it would better for your battery life if you also charged them separately from time-to-time.
