My 2-year-old son's Super 6 Lightning McQueen has a really weak battery, which is actually a good thing for now since he's still learning to drive. He rode shotgun in his sister's Hurricane and wants to go faster, but I need him to get more comfortable with steering and stopping first. I'll put a fresh 6v in later so he can get used to more speed. Eventually, we'll go to 12v.
Here he is on the weak battery -- his first time behind the wheel of a PW:
Just for kicks I made up an adapter and threw a 12v battery in and let my daugher shoehorn herself in there. You can hear her woo-hooing and having a blast. The spin out at the end was priceless (along with me yelling "stop STOP!" Guess I need to go to 18v on her Hurricane now.
