I just recently got my hands on this Raptor 660 for free. Its my understanding that there are several versions of this thing that were made over the years. This version does not have the battery indicator light or shifter.

I really want to turn this 12v bike into a 18v bike and have mixed thoughts on how to make it work. Some threads i have read say it has a control board and it will only fry it. Some threads show adding a 6v batter in series with a fuse and everything works great.

One person mentioned: You have to add the extra voltage after the circuit breaker and pedal switch, that is why it has to be a separate battery to get it to 18 Volts.

Does anyone have any experience with this ?
