You may know, i'm one of the few who is riding his Powerwheel on his own. I still have a lots of fun with my polaris 800 that turns five years in the fall this year. And currently working on a little jeep to get it running with me.

The problem i have is, i'm jealous on kids that get attention when riding their toys. When a child is driving his toa quad or other thing people come and say nice things like "hey, i'm shure you are going to be a famous racecar driver when you're grown up" or simply "youre great at riding it" or similar things. And they come and take pictures because the kidsa are so cute, but there are NO pics with me. I wish i would get that kind of attention too. I star fish on the fact that i'm now 30 years old, i'm a kid when i ride my polaris 800. But on me people are sometime laughing, or children ask me if they can have a ride. They don't know toys like this in germany so it's a novelty seeing this and they want to try it. But why i should let them go. Nobody let ME try his toy, then why i should? As soon as the kids goes with it arround they come again and applaud. But when i ride i'm a "retarded". "look, that one plays with children toys he has to suffer from some menthal issues". YEAH, I DO. But now like they think.

I wish so much that there was somebody who would say somethink nice when i' out with my toys...

I totally wish I could ride these. I tried once but my fat butt bent the axle and popped a 30A fuse almost instantly! Apparently polaris 700s aren't built for 230lbs

The site isn't called "ModifiedPowerWheels" for nothing. Go ahead and modify the darn thing.

I found it a lot easier to go out and buy a real Polaris. ;)

I raced my daughter with her on a harley and me in a mustang I picked up from a friend. I didn't tell her daddy had more batteries than she did. I will rag out a powerwheel for a smile from my kid any day of the week. One of the things that brought me to this forum was a video of a member racing their son. Part of modding this stuff is being a kid with adult capabilities. The bonding is extra. Life is good...life is good. :D

My wife loves to ride the Razor Dirt Quad  (just one more reason to jack it up to 36V and widen the wheel base)...gees, I might be able to get my "wide load" to go on that thing...OH YA! 8-)

My wife steers the Polaris 850 while my 1 yr old baby girl sits in front and leans all the way over to push the gas pedal. She has a blast and will stay there with her foot on the gas till the battery dies! It makes ME laugh...

Hmmm..... I ride my Peg Perego quad alll the time. It does wheelies when i bump my butt on the back of the seat and gun it. Plus the kids love it when I ride with em. We only get to be a kid once, but have to be grown ups the rest of our life. If i have psych problems at 30, I will have to live with them the rest of my life I guess. Get out and have fun. And give the haters the middle finger for me :D

I widened the wheel base on our Razor Dirt Quad last night to make it more stable in the turns. Apparently, with acceleration, my (wide) load distribution took my excessive weight (196 lbs) off the front end and put it all on the rear wheels and I lost the ability to steer. :o Almost did a wheelie into the side of the van.  Neighbors just stare and shake their heads. :P

I used to ride MX 500's with my kids all the time, some people gave weird looks. I don't really care though, because my kids will remember me riding and having fun with them, the other people will forget.

But one thing Max, don't be jealous of the kids and expect people to say nice things to you, you're a 30 year man riding a Power Wheel.

Only specialist is in the form of 18+ volts!
Hell I just stole the silverado from my 3 year old daughter because it has the biggest butt area. I just wish the rear axle was a tad further back, so I didn't have to lean so far forward to steer. The neighbors asked to take it for a ride, well until I flipped it and spit out some unwanted visitor calling cards. Then they wanted to use the motorcycle.
And gosh I wish I was only 8 pounds over limit. Guess I need to use a 2 seater and a super 6 ;-)
But I too, have "mental problems"! HAHAHA
I'll see you all in the ward.

We have four Razor MX500's and two MX350's. That way the whole family can ride together down the street. The only folks that don't think it's funny is the cops. The cops get really confused when they are told the bikes are electric (an MX500 looks a lot like our Honda Xr50, which we have been told before is illegal to ride down the street). Battery powered rides seem to fall in a gray area on the street.

Plenty of adults have scooted around in the Wrangler I built for my boy! Unless you're toting around a security blanket, don't worry about what others think!

Most places, they're treated pretty much as bicycles; No license or registration required, but must obey the same rules, and sometimes prohibited on pedestrian only walkways. If you're impeding traffic (not many of the electrics can keep up), you're breaking the law same as you would be going well under the posted speed in/on anything else.
