I gave Huston an XR50 that I still had from when my adult children were young




He and I loaded up a trailer full of powerwheels today to store at the farm until his little sister and cousins are big enough to drive. It's been kind of sad for me to start closing the powerwheel chapter for him.

While I am sure it's sad to see the sun set on a child's PW days, I do believe the next day is even brighter once one smells the gasoline.

He is definately smelling the gasoline, he rides that bike like he stole it, almost to the point where he scares me when he's on it. He found out the hard way that side hills and training wheels don't mix, but I feel like it was a good first crash, no injuries or damage but he does pay me a little more attention now that he knows those training wheels won't save him all the time. I've also noticed a renewed interest in the dirt quad when he can't ride the XR.
