I have a Dillenger M5 three wheeled mobility scooter. Speed is fine but does not have enough torque for inclines. It has a 36-48v motor controller and runs three 12v 12ah batteries, wired in series. I have added another 12v 22ah battery to it, with not much difference. I'm concerned that adding more batteries would possibly blow the motor control or the motor. If I add more batteries would I need to wire in series, or in parallel to get more torque. And BTW, there are NO forums regarding modification of this item. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
