Need new motors? Grind a gearbox? Adding teeth to a pinion?

My son burnt out another motor in his 24v RZR tonight and I'm getting tried of replacing them. First few were the 350 watt under warranty and than i was given 250 watt ones that came from a friend who replaced them in trouble shooting that had basically no use on them. So I'm not totally surprised the 250's bite it but I'm tried of replacing them, I think it's 6 motors now I've replaced.

Is there anything better? Or should I go with the 350 ones again. I've talked to the a local hobby shop about upgrading to a Traxx motor but I'm not sure of the gear would work or how to change it out.

If your sticking with 24v, the 18v Banebot motor is a good choice. I had great success with the 250 and 350 motors for a while but in the last couple years they seem to burn up quickly.
