Hello All,
I'd like to upgrade the single 6v motor / gearbox in our Feber McQueen with a pair of 12v units. There are loads of cheap gearboxes / motors available on Ebay / Amazon etc. They vary in RPM from 8000 to 30,000RPM. There are no gear ratio specs. Anyone got any idea as to which way to go? Is a 30,000 RPM box just better than anything lower?
I think I know the answer - that there just isn't enough information to know, but I wondered if anyone else had tried one of these generic aftermarket gearboxes and had any comment?
thanks!
