What size motors will work in the gearbox to replace oem motors on the peg razor 900 running 18v? I have several PW cars and have 775 motors for them, but this is the first peg I'm trying to upgrade, THANKS!

I can't believe no reply so far on a great site, I admit its a peg, but I do have more PW's than pegs! How about does anyone know from the part # on the motor I can find the specs to wittle down what I can use?

I don't own any PEGs so I can't give you a ready answer, but if you had the gearbox out you could take measurements of the existing motor and that would at least allow you to determine the case size currently in use. And if you had it apart enough, you can count teeth on all of the gears and determine the gearing ratio and. That would allow you to model the speed and torque you'd get at the wheels for any given motor replacement. Then if you had a target speed you wanted it would be possible to at least evaluate motors against that criteria.

Yep Hammer, reckon I'll have to pull the motor back out and start. I didn't write down all the #'s on the case but not to hard to get back to that. Trying to supe-up the polaris while I have 2 of the dune racers torn down too overhauling them during the winter for the grandkids! Hmmm, now what to think ahead for the gator and 2 jeeps and KFX and GD 4 whlr and ?????? You think you'll be doing this when your 61!!!

Search around the website. there is all kinds of peg info here. I'm pretty sure the stock 12v motors will handle 18v (same for PW). Peg also offers various upgrade kits.

Here is one of their 24v upgrade kits: https://tigerimports.net/sunshop/index. ... ail&p=9639
