Need new motors? Grind a gearbox? Adding teeth to a pinion?

Hello I am new to this site & I need some help modding my sons diego jeep. It currently has a burnt out motor & while searching for a replacement I found this great site. The part # on the motor I removed is 74580-0461 (Super 6 Motor with 8 Tooth Pinion) My question is where can I find a replacement motor & what do I need to buy to bump it up to 18 volts? Thanks.

You can get replacement motors here:
http://www.mltoys.com
If you do some poking around the website you will find that others have proven that going beyond 12v on super 6 will not last.

So would it be possible to swap out the super 6 motors for 12 volt motors & do the 18 volt mod? If so which motor from "mltoys.com" should I be looking at? It looks like whichever motor I end up buying i'm going to have to buy the 8 tooth pinion as well right? Sorry for all the questions i'm new to all this & im a little confused as to what is required to perform this mod.

Actually a super 6 vehicle on 12v runs faster than a 12v vehicle on 18v.
