Would like to modify my daughter's Hurricane to LiFePo4 and was thinking of using the Battery Tender battery listed at the link below:

Anyone have any experience with this battery?

No experience with those directly. What is your goal? Are you looking at those for the weight savings? It is a very expensive option relative to similar-capacity SLA batteries.
