I just picked up a 12v 35ah battery, If I connect a powerwheels 6v Battery in a series to make 18v, can this be done with 2 different Ah capacities? Does that give me a total of 39 ah or will I only have 18v for 4ah, or not work at all? Sorry for the stupid question, I'm new to all of this and trying not to ruin anything.

You will have 18v for 4ah. Not advisable to mix AH ratings when wiring batteries in series, especially with that big of a difference. It’s basically going to run the 6v dead and then ruin the 6v battery. Second note a 35ah battery is pretty large and heavy. Make sure you mount it sturdy in case of a roll over. That battery can do some damage if it fell on a child.
